Քայլ 1: Prepare the Location for the Drain
Before installing the drain, make sure to clean and level the area where it will be installed. The drain should be positioned at a 45-degree angle to the surface of the concrete floor, away from any walls or fixtures. If the drain is located above or below ground level, consider using a structural engineer to ensure that it is stable.
Քայլ 2: Cut the Drainpipe
Using a utility knife, cut the end off of the drain pipe to match the diameter of your shower drain. Be careful not to damage the plumber’s lines or other pipes.
Քայլ 3: Attach the Drainpipe
Once you have cut the end off the drain pipe, attach it to the wall using caulk or plumbing screws. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully to ensure that the installation is secure.
Քայլ 4: Run the Water Drainage System
To test the system, run a small amount of water through the drainpipe. This will verify that the drain is working correctly and that there are no leaks. Once you’re satisfied with the drainage, you can proceed with filling the rest of the shower.
