blok konkrit selular, juga dikenali sebagai konkrit berudara autoklaf (AAC) adalah bahan binaan yang sangat cekap tenaga. Mereka mempunyai kekonduksian terma yang sangat rendah dan sangat penebat. They are light weight, vapour permeable and fire resistant.

Kegunaan Biasa:

Building walls, partitions and load bearing roofs.
They have excellent heat and sound insulation, are fire resistant and can be easily installed by masons.
They are also environmentally friendly, since they do not require disposal of fly ash and other waste.

AAC is a homogeneous material, which means that its physical parameters (penebat haba, compression strength and sound insulation) are the same in all directions. This makes it “technically predictable”.

Compared with normal brick, CLC blocks are lightweight and offer great fire protection due to their dense construction.

Selain itu, these blocks have a very high air permeability. This allows for better ventilation and reduces the moisture content of a building, reducing the likelihood of mildew.

Kos efektif: They are cheaper to produce compared to bricks and other conventional materials. This can help to offset the additional costs of constructing walls with them.

In a prototypical social housing building in a hot desert climate, it was determined that the annual energy demand of 7062 kWh would be reduced by 15% to a maximum of 1.8%, if the hollow concrete block currently used for building social houses were replaced with solid cellular blocks.
